Assistant Plant Manager needed for our client’s busy industrial plant.


The Opportunity


Working closely with the Plant Manager, the Assistant Plant Manager will have responsibilities which include leadership, ensuring production flow, water management, monitoring and managing budgets and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The successful Assistant Plant Manager will possess strong organization and communication skills, work well with strict processes, and have a lean manufacturing mindset. Plant location is in Langley. Excellent opportunity for advancement!


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Assist with the management of day-to-day plant operations, including monitoring equipment, inventory, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Working with the Plant Manager to review monthly budget, including P&L statements, labour and material costs.
  • Implementing process improvements to improve the bottom line.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

    • University degree is required (business or other relevant discipline).
    • Some physical requirements including but not limited to lifting, bending, and stretching.
    • Budget and P&L experience.
    • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships.
    • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
    • Must possess excellent communications skills.
