Senior Air Compliance Engineer at Randstad

About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Air Compliance Engineer to lead and manage our Western Canada Air and
Noise Business, based in either Calgary or Edmonton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
„h Leading our Air and Noise business in Western Canada
„h Project management and coordination of our Air and Noise business in Western Canada with
existing and new clients
„h Management and provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
„h Prepare technical reports and permit applications
„h Conduct visits and field activities for projects within and outside of Alberta
„h Work with GHD¡¦s corporate Air & Noise Group, consisting of over 80 engineers and scientists
across North America.

Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
„h Bachelors of Engineering
„h 5-15 years of work experience, preferably in a consulting practice
„h Expert in oil and gas and industrial processes and how air emissions are generated from these
operations
„h Knowledge of Alberta and BC regulations pertaining to air and noise (i.e. Alberta Monitoring
Directive, Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, Specified Gas Emitters Regulations)
„h Experience in air monitoring and stack testing projects (i.e. USEPA and Environment Canada
methods)
„h Demonstrated ability to prepare coherent proposals in plain language addressing client
requirements
„h Attention to detail along with strong organizational skills
„h Ability to complete work under tight deadlines when required
„h Demonstrated skills managing significant air compliance projects with multiple staff working as
part of a team
„h Written and verbal communication skills are essential to this position
