Spectrum Hospitality Canada 1300-1969 Upper Water St Halifax, NS -seeking two(2) experienced  Special Event Directors to fulfill short term contracts in ON and AB from Aug 17-Sept 6, 2017.  Maintain client relationships with PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour, and Major Music Festivals. Responsible for: overall hospitality services and product, setting corporate goals, guidelines, safety programs, and overall culture, managing several hundred employees, staff, and volunteers, financial success or obligation of each event. Must be able to evaluate overall conditions to ensure structure set up is done properly and meets all current code requirements, have the technical understanding of all event equipment and perform any necessary repairs and/or maintenance on site.  Must have 5+ years’ in the following: Experience working Special Events defined above, experience working in the food and beverage industry, proven ability to deliver high quality service in a high paced environment in all weather conditions, proven ability to manage up to 300 staff.  The staff members report directly to this position. $53/Hr, 15 days straight 10hrs/day.
