Web Portal Application Support at Randstad

About the Job

Our client is looking for a Web Portal Application Support individual that will be responsible for assisting clients with all issues related to the portal application. This individual can work out of downtown Ottawa or Toronto!


 Support a multi-tenant web application portal for Federal government client(s).
 Manage user access to the portal per existing security requirements.
 Triage portal incidents to resolve, where possible, or assign to appropriate team(s).
 Validate incident resolutions, and new features, to confirm functionality.
 Submit change requests, as required, to resolve incidents or the creation of new
 Collaborate with the various stakeholders to enhance the web portal application
 Develop and maintain technical documentation including FAQs and user-level How-To
 Train end users on web portal application functionality
 Other duties as requested.


 A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting a web application.
 A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a helpdesk support role.
 Active Government of Canada Level II (Secret) Security Clearance.
 Ability to work effectively in a high volume environment that is subject to frequent change
 Knowledge of ITIL framework
 Ability to work in an environment consisting of both on-call support and after hours
implementations as required
 Ability to write technical documents
 Bilingualism required (English and French essential)
 Previous training experience would be an asset


 ITIL v3 Foundations certification
