Job Description


Enabling programs/portfolios in the application of current agile practices­ by providing hands on coaching & support


Delivering a solution or service that meets the needs of the Line of Business as part of a consultative engagement


Accurately recognizing context of program/portfolio opportunities and making appropriate recommendations or providing solutions


Improving the agile maturity and agile adoption by the program/portfolio


Determining & making recommendations on which delivery frameworks and methodologies are relevant to different complex initiatives (e.g. scrum, Kanban, scaled Agile) in order to deliver highest value


Engaging sponsoring executives, IT and Business leads, to establish trusted partnerships that enable commitment and buy-in to agile practices


Supporting the development of agile coaches, team members and their leaders through mentoring, education, training etc.


Radiating information to sponsoring executives, IT and Business leads, that shows progress, trends & key performance indicators of agile maturity and adoption.


Proactively analyzing and making recommendations for improvements to existing agile organizational practices and patterns across program and portfolio


Preparing and delivering presentations or workshops to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience.


Proactively strive to raise the agile maturity of an organization (e.g. agile program, group, Line of Business, agile leadership team)


Leveraging recommended agile multi-team practices, tools and experience to help teams become more self-sufficient and sustainable


Supporting team through organizational change while minimizing disruption and keeping focus on productivity and morale.


Designing and executing continuous improvement of processes to nurture team productivity


Providing coaching to Team members on agile and other processes and practices


 


Job Requirements


5+ years of hands on delivery including a minimum of 2 years using Agile based methodologies


3+ years of hands on agile coaching experience


Expert knowledge in Agile core concepts (e.g. stories, story mapping, determining story points, etc.)


Capability assessment and building experience on delivery teams


Driving adoption of methodology, tools, process and templates across delivery teams


Highly developed communication and facilitation skills


Strong interpersonal skills


Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, sometimes ambiguous environment


Strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively identify risks / issues and recommend solutions


Ability to digest complex information and summarize in a clear, concise fashion


Ability to influence others in a matrix environment along with the ability to challenge and to influence change


 


Nice to have


Experience with Agile at Enterprise scale and detaining one or more of the following Industry certifications :


Certified Disciplined Agile Practitioner


PMI-ACP


CSP


SAFe
