Under supervision, performs precision tune-up and maintenance on residential HVAC equipment and accessories. Communicates with residential customer to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customer. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or Branch Manager.
The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and basic diagnostic skills. Holding a Gas Fitter 2 License is a definite asset. Applicants must have a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform precision tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
Additionally, the ability to perform equipment service and maintenance and to follow controls/wiring diagrams and schematics is essential. Team work is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed, in addition to working overtime, night, and weekend hours.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to troubleshoot problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
