Your new role
We are seeking an Assistant Auditor for a 6 week contract to assist during year end audit practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with minimum of 2 years of assisting with year end audit procedures. Duties include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Assisting the auditor with working paper preparation
- Year end audit financial review
- Invoice auditing
- Financial administration as it relates to year end audit
- Other duties assigned
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant with have a minimum of 2 years previous experience with year end audit. You will be skilled at reconciliations, financial reporting and assisting with year end audit preparations. You will have a college or university education related to business or finance and ideally working towards an accounting designation. You will be knowledgeable of working papers. You will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and experience working with an ERP. You will have excellent communication and organization skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a 6 week contract to assist the auditor. It may be extended. This position is offering $25.00 - $30.00 an hour.
