The successful candidate will:
Delivering sales and service excellence to customers while meeting or exceeding yearly goals.
Building strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to develop loyalty and leverage sales effectiveness.
Conducting prospecting and follow-up to secure profitable new business opportunities.
Participating in business reviews, food shows or other marketing initiatives.
Understanding, upholding and complying with Sysco’s policies and procedures, e.g. special orders, credit, returns, health and safety.
Liaising with all departments routinely to ensure ongoing efficiency and prompt attention to customers.
Act as relationship manager and advisor to customers.
Promote Sysco Brands and value added services as points of differentiation.
Represent Sysco in a professional manner at all times.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all product categories sold.
Attend all required company meetings.
Completion of post-secondary education, preferably with a Business, Hotel/Restaurant or Marketing/Sales concentration, or equivalent experience.
Food service experience required
Previous sales experience an asset
Superior communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
Must thrive in a high energy customer service environment.
Technology savvy; proficient with popular software programs and E-commerce concepts.
Clean criminal record and driver’s abstract.
Must have worked in current role for a least one year (applies to internal candidates only)
