General Manager for Sales & Marketing Group

Our client, a world class corporation seeks a General Manager for the Sales and Marketing Group of its successful Canadian operation. The General Manager will lead a professional team, managing the sales & marketing mandates at national level. Reporting to the President as a key member of the senior management, the General Manager manages the departmental objectives strategically and tactically in alignment with the corporate vision. The role will entail the critical component of planning, financial management, policy and program review & implementation, communication of plans and results throughout the organization and dealer networks.
The successful candidate will be an innovative leader with senior managerial communication, presentation, exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and influencing skills, in addition to the required core competencies such as the high degree of professional integrity and personal dedication for further growth of the organization. The educational requirement is a university degree in business related disciplines, preferably with an MBA. A minimum of 7- 10 years solid managerial experience in a senior managerial role in the North American heavy equipment/vehicle industry sector is a must. Bilingual capability (English and French) will be considered as a strong asset.
