JOB ORDER NUMBER:
The ideal successful candidate will be someone who has extensive experience working within a Canadian Public firm. He/She will have the ambition to be succession planned into partnership in the near future. The timing will depend on the candidate’s determination and progression of learning. The potential candidate will also enjoy living in a beautiful rural area in Northern Ontario (Dryden).

-Conduct client audits, accounting and corporate taxation needs.
-Apply appropriate industry and business knowledge in addressing and identifying clients business needs.
-Sector experience: pubic sector, entities (municipalities, school boards, hospitals, non for profit, listed entities and other privately owned entities.
-Plan, prepare, execute and analyze financial statements including appropriate note disclosure.
-Identify new business opportunities’ with existing and new clients.
-Participate in new business development initiatives.
-Research technical needs when regards to clients business situation.
-Complete of all aspects of the entire engagement and the on the job training of other team members.
-Complete the analysis of work related to Assurance & Accounting projects and engagements.
-Provide exceptional service with regards to audits, reviews, compilations, or special reports to clients.
-Draft reports and responses to client queries for manager review.
-Work closely with clients including attending client and audit meetings, preparation of management letters and related correspondence.
-Work independently on/or difficult corporate projects related to taxation and Assurance, when necessary.
-Deliver financial statements and working paper files in accordance with firm standards in a timely and effective manner.
-Develop and manage a client base.
-Prepare analyze and complete various tax returns.
Commensurate upon experience.
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree.
-3-5 years of professional experience in a public accounting firm.
-Professional Designation required (CA, CGA, and CPA).
-Excellent knowledge of audit, accounting and taxation (individual & Corp).
-Strong understanding of accounting policies and audit techniques.
-Advance knowledge of various software; Microsoft office (Excel, Word) Caseware, Caseview and Tax Prep.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks.
Permanent - Full-Time
Yes there is relocation assistance.
Occasional supervision of junior staff.
