A prominent developer/builder are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the team on its iconic luxury residential high rise project in Toronto.
Your new role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the supervision of all construction activities and liaise with all construction personnel to ensure project is executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner while maintaining the integrity of design and high quality workmanship. The Senior Project Manager is required to have an open mind with respect to solving problems, come prepared with recommendations, and be a team player who communicates well and pro-actively. You will be responsible for seeking approval of bidders' lists, supervising tendering, making recommendations to ownership. Assist development team (including planning consultants and lawyers) during planning stage of project and have direct oversight of consultants with respect to technical construction related matters during the planning stage.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the local construction/development industry. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines. You must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form and with all types of staff, including trades, technical, professional, and upper management. Candidates with high rise residential experience preferred.
What you'll get in return
This job offers a base salary in excess of $220,000, depending of experience.
