JOB ORDER NUMBER:
Our client, a leading freight forwarder and high profile asset based transportation provider is currently looking for an Account Executive to join their rapidly growing organization. Their growth is due to achieving a solid reputation of reliable, cost-efficient road transportation throughout Canada, U.S.A and Mexico.
This is a fulltime permanent role with a broad territory and is poised for growth - especially for somebody skilled at developing and retaining business!
We are looking for outgoing, determined, and driven Account Executive to join our expanding team. The person who can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships, with their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends. They will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. The person will also assist the leadership team in developing sales strategies.
As an Account Executive, you will need to:
-Identify potential customers and the decision makers.
-Drive net new revenue within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
-Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
-Effectively manage accounts and maintain relationships to enhance the customer experience.
-Efficiently plan sales presentations.
-Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the customers’ needs, concerns, and objectives.
-Stay current on company offerings and industry trends.
-Maintain a database of contact information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
-Working knowledge of Freight forwarding industry.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Good financial and business awareness.
-Strong written and verbal skills.
-Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.&
EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:
-Minimum 2 years of previous experience in sales capacity.
-Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
Competitive and comprehensive compensation program commensurate with experience.
-University education from an accredited institution and equivalent industry experience.
-Additional education, certification or seminars.
