Associate Marketing Manager - Mississauga, ON
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch
Position Purpose: To manage, under the direction of the Manager of Marketing and Education and in collaboration with the Clinical Marketing Manager and CAD CAM Specialist, select products within the Clinical and Technical SBUs. Assist in the introduction of new products, the development and execution of marketing plans and the advertisement/promotion plans that contribute to the completion of the strategic plan in an effective manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:Demonstrate a good knowledge of the products.Work, with direction from the Manager of Marketing and Education, Clinical Marketing Manager and NA Clinical Marketing team to execute new product launches, marketing and strategic plans to achieve the sales budget while keeping expenses below budget.Communicate project milestones and requirements to the Canadian Marketing team and NA Clinical Marketing team.Assist in developing the Canadian marketing plans for the products within the Associate portfolio and execute according to strategic plan.Report monthly marketing activities and resulting sales for each product within the portfolio to the Manager of Marketing and Education.Work effectively with the creative department and the advertising agency to complete advertisements, promotions and literature.Work effectively with the Canadian Education team to plan and promote all internal and external ICDE courses.Organize and implement individual promotional plans as required for the portfolio.Develop, analyze and report on market research data as directed by the Manager of Marketing and Education.Assist in departmental and corporate activities, as requested, to complete the corporate plan.Assist in the development of advertising/media plans and public relations for the SBUs.Participate in strategic planning sessions to coordinate marketing plans/budget for SBUs.Develop and execute communication to the sales force as directed by the Manager of Marketing and Education.
Qualifications:College or University degree required.2-3 years' experience in marketing requiredExcellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills in MS Office required.Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills requiredBilingual French/English considered an asset
Physical Demands:Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours per day, view computer monitor and move about effectively to fulfill the essential functions of the job.Ability to travel.
Reporting to this Position: No direct reports.
Impact of Errors: The impact of errors is high in the short and long term resulting in negative monetary outcome. Expense control is paramount. Errors in pricing would have negative impact. Other various errors could result in a failure to attain corporate strategic goals
