Project Manager - Bilingual (English/French)

As part of our consulting team, the Project Manager will assist the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) of our client, a federal government department in Ottawa.
Throughout the project, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following deliverables:
Work in close collaboration with the manager accountable for project delivery and strategic priorities;
Manage projects in support of departmental strategic priorities;
Develop and update project documentation and related content;
Plan, monitor and report progress on project timelines, project schedules, key milestones and deliverables, using the client’s Project Management Framework (PMF) which is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) of the Project Management Institute (PMI);
Develop strategic products for CIO and DCIO such as presentations, briefing notes, risk analysis, progress reports and dashboards, and communication products.
Must be able to communicate (reading, writing and oral) in English and French.
Must have successfully completed a diploma in one of the following:
Information Technology, Information Management or Computer Science from a recognized university or college.
a combination of valid education and experiences in the IM/IT area, that consist in a bachelor degree or college diploma in another field than Information Technology, Information Management or Computer Science plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in IM/IT
Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Prince2 Certifications in good standing (still valid)
Must have least 5 years of experience as a project manager within the last 8 years and with at least three (3) years of experience with the Government of Canada in Information Technology.
Must have least 3 different projects where the proposed resource has been the IT Project Manager from start to completion.
Should have 3 projects experience creating all the following project documentation in each project:
project management plan,
project close-out report.
Should have 2 projects experience developing IM/IT Strategic Roadmap, which constitute a multi-year project portfolio of interdependent and interrelated IT projects that realize a strategic vision for an organization, and which was presented at CIO level or above.
Should have experience creating 2 documents and presentations for the IM/IT strategic planning activities of an organisation at the CIO/DG level or above. To be considered, the documents must belong to one of the following categories:
IT/IM Plans, IT/IM Strategic Plans, IT/IM Vision;
Integrated Business Plans, Reports on Plans and Priorities (RPP), Management Accountability Framework (MAF) for IM/IT, Corporate Risk Profile for IM/IT;
IT Security Plan, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), IT Continuity Plan.
Remote. Afterwards, the location of work will be downtown Ottawa.
