The Category Analytics Manager will help create value for RB Health (Canada) through enabling data-driven decision making for strategic and operational planning. You will lead our category understanding and provide insight, analyses and recommendations to position RB Health (Canada) as the category authority and provide business owners with forward-looking and diagnostic insights that optimize our business strategy and drive growth.
Lead business intelligence reporting across our key markets, Infant Formula, Child Nutrition, Sexual Wellbeing, Health Relief and Personal Care categories.
Ensures integrity of data sources, maintains databases and leads relationship with suppliers of category information.
Produces weekly and monthly reports, and ensures category reporting is reflective of the key segments and product groups that drive market performance.
Uses category expertise to determine how to best understand category performance.
Considers all competitors in the category spaces, and provides an understanding of brand share performances.
Creation of the market data availability through standardized reporting, delivers category expertise and understanding through deep dive analyses into category segments.
Helps to define overall category strategy and stories through working in partnership with Business Analytics team members and Marketing and Sales partners, integrating data sources from internal and external data sources.
Leverage new technologies and platforms to ensure best practice for democratization of data and data visualization.
BA or BSc Required
Knowledge of the Canadian retail space and retail strategies, instore and online.
Strong knowledge of syndicated data (Nielsen/IQVIA) and POS and proven skill at analyzing and interpreting these data sources.
Strong proficiency in advanced excel knowledge, database management, general knowledge of supply chain and production, marketing and sales.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate data sources and develop/test/validate hypotheses in order to identify current and forecast emerging trends.
Understanding of organizational dynamics of a global corporation, operating culture and achieving results in a changing work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to navigate interactions and develop partnerships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously demonstrating strong prioritization skills, balancing uncertainties and trade-offs to achieve desired business results. Attention to detail with emphasis on both speed and accuracy.
Builds a collaborative, positive cross functional team environment and strong working relationships with senior management, marketing, healthcare and retail sales teams, finance and outside agencies.
