Certified Health Care Aide found on Home Care Assistance Winnipeg

Home Care Assistance is looking for a Health Care Aide to join our team. The Health Care Aide will be joining our team in providing extra staffing to Personal Care Homes. They will be responsible for the physical care and emotional support for residents of the home. They will be employed by Home Care Assistance of Winnipeg but on a day to day basis answer to the nursing staff at the personal care home they are assigned to. Home Care Assistance staff will not be assigned to PCH wards with active cases of Covid-19.

The ideal candidate must be a certified Health Care Aide in Manitoba with some previous experience in a Personal Care Home. Due to current single-site staffing regulations, the candidate is not permitted to have a position at any other Personal Care Home in Manitoba.

Requirements: 

• Health Care Aide certificate
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background check.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
