Your new role
The Operations / Property Manager will be directly responsible for the operation and management of an industrial portfolio of properties and land, as well as managing of yearly operating and capital budgets to ensure property-owner's objectives are accomplished. This position is also accountable for the management of clerical and operations support staff. You will make sure all policies, procedures and processes are adhered to, as well as maintaining excellent relations with your clients, tenants and members of the public.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum 3 years of commercial Operations Management, Project Management, or commercial Property Management (it does not have to be an industrial background) experience to be considered. You will have strong customer services abilities, excellent communication skills and a good team focused attitude. You will have an eye for overseeing regular maintenance and basic understanding of the trades, and have up to date computer skills. You will have experience with drafting budgets and overseeing them. An RPA, CPM or ARM designation is an asset.
