Cook/Food Service Worker Positions
Hours vary from 7.25 – 37.25, with the potential for permanent full time.
We have sites located in and around the city, please specify what quadrant or surrounding area you live in.
Aramark is currently recruiting for Cook/Food Service Worker positions at sites in Calgary & Surrounding area (including Red Deer, Airdrie and Okotoks). Aramark provides standardized and custom services throughout the healthcare sites. We strive to provide exceptional variety and service through continued improvement and a focus on patient, guest and client satisfaction.

Shifts are scheduled for either early morning, afternoon or night shifts. This is a 7 day a week operation and we will be filling availability for days, evenings and weekends.
Starting: available immediately
Food Service Workers are primarily responsible for assigned food prep in accordance with established work schedules, policies and procedures. These can include:
-Meal time plating and portioning of all menu items to our residents.
-Maintenance of unit specific product inventory levels-clearing, cleaning and sanitizing of resident dining and service areas, sanitation of food delivery tools and equipment, all with an astute focus on resident satisfaction.
-A clear understanding and practice of safe food handling and sanitation practices as specified through ARAMARK policies and procedures is required.
-Performance of resident meal portioning and plating with the support of the care services team, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
-Inventory and replenishment of unit specific supplies.
-Attentive care and consideration of resident, staff, and visitor requests.
-Other related duties as required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs (occasional to frequent), prolonged walking, standing, reaching
- Reliable, enthusiastic, able to prioritize, and to follow detailed instructions without direct supervision
- Reading and writing English fluently, and able to converse in English clearly
- Criminal background and vulnerable sector checks required
- All applicants must have proof of up to date vaccinations to be able to work in the facility.
