LOOKING for an Enterprise Data Cloud Architect for our federal government client to assist in establishing a data architecture, data governance and related processes as well as providing corresponding guidance, advice and coordination.
Location: Ottawa

Required skills:
- Experience as an Enterprise Architect in the area of large-scale IM/IT business transformation projects for the Government of Canada with a strong focus in data.
- Experience on analytics-based or cloud-based projects working with Executive-level stakeholders
- Experience on analytics projects in the Government of Canada completed or on-going
- MUST have architected at least 1 data warehouse. This includes design of dimension and/or fact tables, ETL scripts, set up of underlying physical infrastructure based on requirements
- Experience conducting overall business analysis, completing risk analysis, defining project objectives, meeting with stakeholders and reporting project progress on an analytics based project.
- Experience with developing cloud or integration of cloud and non-cloud (hybrid) architectural design for product deployments involving server, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Experience architecting security for a multi-zoned deployment onto Cloud based services.
- Hold valid certification as Solution Architect for a cloud-based infrastructure with one of the following:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- Microsoft Azure Solution Architect Expert
- Established 1 cloud program in the Federal Government; this is defined as completing a cloud readiness assessment, a cloud strategy and a cloud implementation plan.
- Have a minimum of 2 of the following project management based certifications:
- TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, CSM, CPM or PRINCE2
