One of the longest established and most successful real estate companies in Manitoba have an immediate opening for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities and Maintenance department in their Winnipeg head office.
Your new role
Working closely with the executive leadership, you will lead a team of around 8 Maintenance Associates and Coordinators to manage all the needs of a mixed portfolio spread around the City of Winnipeg. This covers office, retail, hospitality and Multi-Family residential properties and oversight of not only the preventative maintenance program but also major capital projects and external contractor management.
What you'll need to succeed
This role is a real mix of managing the team and visiting sites to assess maintenance and construction issues and then the working with the executive team in the head office environment and working on long term plans, budgets and staff management issues. So it requires someone with the ability to be hands on but who can also stand back and look at the bigger picture and the long term needs of the business.
