DMA Global Ltd is a Calgary based recruitment company, started in 2004. We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our team to support our expanding business operations, which will include Franchisees and Agents across Canada, the US and other strategic locations. You will work directly with the CFO in leading the finance function for DMA.
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
External Payroll, review and accumulations of all HCA timesheets, including dealing with inquiries, import to control spreadsheet, review, export to Ceridian pay system, review control totals and submit by 2PM Tuesday.
Review, create and post journal entry from Ceridian data to accounting system. Create new pay period weekly, input all new contractors and revisions as advised. Year end printing and distribution of T4’s, WCB Annual filing as required by Feb 2
Internal payroll (all companies), review and post hours/commissions/salaries and process. Export EFT file and pay weekly. Weekly and monthly remittance of required CRA payroll withholdings. ROE’s as required. Year end T4’s and T4 Summaries prepared and filed.
Invoicing, driven from approved timesheets, payroll, monthly invoices from ISC.
Email invoices to clients/AE’s.
Weekly production of accounts receivable statements of account and forward to the client/AE to assist in collection.
Recording of payments received on account on a weekly basis and sharing of the report with Franchisee/AE so they know what has bee received and what will be paid to them the following period.
Franchisor Invoicing, monthly invoicing from DMA Global to Franchisee’s.
Franchise onboarding, prepared to be in all meetings as needed with potential new Franchisees to provide information as required.
Finance, daily online review of all accounts, record adjustments as they occur, move funds between savings and current account as needed. Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.
Group Insurance plan, monthly review and recording of charges, annual communications with broker at time of annual renewal to review the useage and renewal rates offered. Add and delete members as needs.
Insurance, annual review with current broker on renewal of GL, E&O and P&C policies, completion of application forms as required including provision of selected financial data to assist with renewal.
IT system, first point of contact for IT support from NBI. Provide email names and password format for all new employees/AE’s so that the format is consistant. Assignment of Ring Central phone number and edit of user profile in Ring Central. Provide new employee details to the alarm company and update user list as required.
Business Development – Support the AE’s in generating new business - Direct Hires, Contractors and Franchisees
Provide administrative support to Directors
