As a member of the Corporate Division you will be responsible to ensure you understand and follow Corporate Policies and Procedures, you understand and follow all of the Financial Policies and Procedures for the division. Other things you'll get to do are to:• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of Calian Group Ltd, including the preparation and review of consolidation working papers supporting the financial statement disclosures• Oversight of the Corporate equity plan administration• Preparation of Quarterly Financial Information• Co-ordinate and manage Year End Audit with the external auditors, and internal finance team members• Assess newly issued IFRS standards and analyze the direct impacts on Calian• Preparation of Internal FSS and Reconciliations• Calculate Stock Option Benefits for Payroll to Report on T4s• Assist in the oversight of regional subsidiary accounting• Assisting the Corporate accounting team with research into tax changes or issues as they arise• Assist in preparation of annual tax returns and other filings• Prepare analytic review for business units to assist the ongoing operations and strategy• Reviewing operating processes with cost center managers to address any short comings and recommend improvements to drive better performance• Provide pricing and gross margin analysis for on-going and new contracts• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process• Assist in the preparation of board packages for annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting to the Board of Directors
The qualifications:If we still have your attention, we'd like to know if you have the following (but not limited to):• University Degree in Commerce (Accounting specialization an asset)• 2-5 years of working experience in accounting related function• SAP knowledge desirable • Working knowledge of IFRS
