Pollard Enterprises Ltd. is seeking experienced Industrial, Commercial & Institutional Flat Roofers for full-time, permanent employment.
Location of work varies mainly across Greater Toronto Area, Golden Horseshoe and sometimes other regions throughout Ontario.
Minimum 3-5 years or more of work experience as a commercial flat roofer
Ability to work flexible hours as required
Must be comfortable working from heights
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various climates and weather conditions
Able to lift heavy loads (50 lbs.)
Capable of performing repetitive tasks
WHMIS and Rooftop Safety Certifications
Willingness to travel with some overnight stays
-Install, repair or replace conventional multi-ply built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
-Installation of Modified Bitumen (Mod-bit) roofing
-Install single ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified bitumen, rubber or asphalt compositions
-Troubleshoot and detect roofs for leaks
-Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and manufacturers’ installation procedures
-Use of hand and power tools, hoists, rigs, lifts, ladders etc.
Between $30.04 and $41.86 per hr
Benefits (Medical & Dental, Pension) are paid in accordance with the collective agreement with the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association, Local 30.
