Food & Beverage Cashier/Service Associate found on Cedar Fair

Prepares and serves food to park guests and operates cash registers while providing quality service to park guests in a clean, safe atmosphere. This position pays minimum wage. 

• As an ambassador for Canada’s Wonderland the service associate will greet every guest with a positive and genuine tone
• Accurately enter guests’ orders into the cash register. Complete cash, debit, and credit transactions ensuring all policies are followed and tills balance
• Ensure all menu items and food supplies are available
• Practice proper personal hygiene on a daily basis
• Receive/store/prepare/hold and serve food in compliance with the Ontario Health regulations and department specifications
• Assist bussers with table clearing, cleaning and setting as required
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitation practices for food and non-food contact surfaces and equipment
• Operate equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications and department safety policies
• Satisfy Canada’s Wonderland standards for performance and conduct
• Address any guest questions and concerns regarding the location/park
• Assist with other duties as required

• Excellent communication skills
• Min. 15 years of age
• An interest in working with food
• Guest service oriented and cash handling experience is an asset
• Able to perform heavy lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Assist Line Cooks as needed and directed by the supervisory team
• Successfully complete applicable location certification
• Able to work weekends in May, June, September, October, November and December
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (depending on assigned location)
• Reliable transportation
• Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
