Reporting to: Home Health Care Store Manager
Duration: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase
• Advise customers on use and care of merchandise and provide advice concerning specialized products
• Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or packing slips, record shortages and reject damaged goods 
• Assist in display of merchandise
• Conduct sales transactions in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Experience in a retail or sales setting an asset
• Home healthcare product knowledge considered an asset 
• Excellent oral/written communication and a strong customer service orientation
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities and deadlines 
• Demonstrates a courteous and effective sales demeanor
• Prioritizes work activities and accepts multiple job duties
• Maintains effective working relationships with customers and other staff members in person and over the phone
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 
• SAP experience considered an asset
