This global organisation operates is headquartered in the US and operates across a number of territories. In Montreal they have operations across Canada, with over 450 employees. They are a market leader in their field, and are dedicated to providing outstanding quality, service and customer support. As a diverse business they have a mix of white collar and technical employees.
Your new role
The role of a People Partner Canada is to help solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. You will be first and foremost a member of the People team but also an extended member of various matrixed teams including the local Management Team. The People Partner Canada delivers value-added service to leadership as well as to all colleagues across the various business units, while aligning with Aptos' business objectives. The People Partner Canada will form a key member of the regional NA People Partnering Operations Team, undertaking regional specific projects. In addition, the role will form part of the wider Global People Partnering Operations Team and report directly into the People Leader of that Team. We're at a cross-roads between how we've done things in the past and how we want to do things in the future - and you'll be helping us to define what that looks like. This role also involves some travel between local offices.
You'll be the primary contact from a People Generalist perspective for approximately 450 colleagues in Montreal and those colleagues who work remotely. You will support the Global Operations People Leader in achieving strategic objectives, as well as building and sustaining a positive culture of high performance across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Senior HR Business Partner you will demonstrate significant HR Partnering experience and the proven delivery of commercial advice to senior management. You will understand change processes and have a pragmatic, solutions focused attitude to change. You will have a eye for numbers and exposure and experience with remuneration initiatives and bench-marking will be highly valued as would exposure working within a more IT company or new technologie / advisory environment.
