Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you'll be working alongside two other Human Resources Business Partners who work to ensure each other's success but operate relatively autonomously. You will be assigned projects in which you will be responsible for drafting job descriptions for Project Managers, Estimators etc. and participate in the full cycle of recruitment with the assistance of a dedicated Recruiter. As new projects are assigned to you, you may be required to travel to the sites within the GTA.
What you'll need to succeed
Understanding businesses within businesses is essential to your success as you will be rolling out and establishing new procedures for each project that is taken on by the company as if it were a new business with new partners to work with; a background in construction or manufacturing is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 3 years working as a true Generalist and strong employee relations, engagement and performance management skills are required, as are relationship building skills.
What you'll get in return
$500/month vehicle allowance, company gas card, base salary between $70,000 - $75,000, 3 weeks of vacation, bonus and benefits paid 100% by the employer.
