The Intake Coordinator is a member of the EY Private Assurance Team contributing to the goals of maximum deployment of our external client serving staff and project staffing for delivery of our engagements in Canada through the Enterprise Centre of Excellence (COE). The Intake Coordinator manages and develops timely resource solutions of COE staff in the Edmonton marketplace; develops knowledge of staff skill sets and project requirements; facilitates with EY Private offices across Canada and participates in developing resource deployment strategies and assistance in the EY Private marketplace on external client needs; assists EY Private team with client deliverables. **Your key responsibilities** The Intake Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the day to day resource management activities within the Enterprise COE, supporting EY Private offices across Canada. + Delivers timely resource deployment solutions through sourcing appropriate staff within the COE in Edmonton to service the Enterprise needs across Canada; + Actively manages resource capacity and ensures that excess capacity or resource needs are communicated; + Able to facilitate and lead problem resolution with management; + Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision; + Appropriately prioritize staffing decisions based on engagement risk, specialization requirements, timing constraints, and staffing continuity; + Proactive deployment of communication plans and timely sharing of information necessary to secure project resources; + Detailed tracking of resource requests and recommended solutions, weekly analysis of engagement assignments and special reports, as appropriate; + Participation at COE Management Team meetings; + Anticipates unmet delivery needs and recommends strategies for unassigned resources; **Skills and attributes for success** + Displays a “can do” attitude, and strives to deliver “win-win” solutions; + Able to facilitate and lead problem resolution with management; + Proficient at negotiation skills and conflict management + Excellent technical capability with MS Office and quick to adapt to new software **To qualify for the role, you must have** + A University degree, or College diploma preferred; + 3 to 5 years experience in a corporate setting + Experience coordinating with government agencies + Experience in project management or client relationship management is an asset. + Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with various demands and personalities + A strong attention to detail + Excellent Microsoft Excel skills + Committed team player with a solution-driven, value-added focus **What working at EY offers** At EY, our Total Rewards package supports our commitment to creating a leading people culture-built on high-performance teaming-where everyone can achieve their potential and contribute to building a better working world for our people, our clients and our communities.
