On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking an intermediate level Quality Assurance Analyst for a full-time permanent position in Calgary.

Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst - Job Details

• Work collaboratively with other teams to develop detailed acceptance criteria from complex user stories and create test strategies
• Create QA documentation in an Agile environment for test plans
• Prioritize testing backlogs based on end user needs and complete test cases within sprint timelines
• Track defects, fixes, and retests to resolve product issues and monitor progress
• Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders, sharing qualitative and quantitative test results
• Identify areas of process improvement with automation testing

Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst - Mandatory Skills

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in manual QA testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios
• Previous experience with browser compatibility testing and user acceptance testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology environment
• Previous experience working with a testing tool such as MS Test Manager
• High aptitude for accountability, working independently and in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal team members verbally and in writing
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst - Nice to Have 

• Experience with automated testing (script or record & playback)
• Previous experience with SQL, JavaScript, and REST APIs
