Are you a subject matter expert in all things related to Internal Communications?
Reporting to the Director of Integration & Relationships, the Internal Communications Manager delivers consistent communications to City staff in accordance with a corporate strategy and relying on a variety of communication and engagement tools and practices. In addition, this role provides strategic internal communication counsel and direction to Business Partners, leaders and staff.
Other responsibilities include:
Build department internal communications and change management strategies, ensure capacity and skills among leadership to deliver strategies
Collaborate with the internal communications teams to improve the thinking, analysis and direction of internal strategies and tactics
Gather current data and market analysis to inform decisions around internal communications strategies and provide advice and propose solutions
Assemble, develop and lead communication teams to achieve strategic objectives, coach, mentor and guide team
Create an integrated approach to deliver work, collaborate with other Communication disciplines to ensure comprehensive solutions
Assure quality of internal communication services by understanding the needs and priorities of the business, evaluating current products delivered and the performance of the team
Create, leverage and maintain strong and productive working relationships and build trust among stakeholders
