Our client a leader in the shipping and logistic industry is looking for an IT Help Desk Assist on a contract that would be for a minimum of 3 months with possible extensions.
Location: Mississauga (Renforth Rd and Eglinton West)
The IT Help Desk Assist, working closely with sales and related departments would be responsible for:
- Validate information on pricing and automation system to collect relevant and detailed information to make an IT case.
- Contact Sales to gather additional information when necessary.
- Log and monitor issues on internal Production Pricing application.
- Participate on weekly conf. calls with global team on issues status update meetings.
- Create Power Point presentation on CA escalations.
- Create Excel file to monitor cases.
- Notify Sales and internal teams on issues status.
- Spot check discounts for transitioned accounts via discount report and/or PM GUI.
- Diploma in Information Technology
- 2 years Experience in IT and Computer based customer service field
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office - PowerPoint, Word and Excel
