Our client is divesting business unit(s) and needs an experienced M&A Program Manager to lead IT system separation/integration.
The M&A Program Manager will build a team of project managers/control officers, architects, system integrators , functional leaders (security, operations, procurement, legal, finance). They will represent the client in joint steering committee meetings with client and acquirer executives.
Start date: as soon as possible.
9 months arrangement with likely extension.
Work onsite at client offices in Montreal ~4+ days per week. Possible travel to operational site(s) in Canada, US, or Europe.
Report to client IT Executive responsible for all M&A/Transformation programs.
Explicit M&A/D experience with large companies (e.g., managing budget $10M+).
Broad understanding of M&A/D separation: end user computing, AD, site transfer, network, shared infra, enterprise apps and unique apps (e.g., engineering).
Communicate with executives as well as technical team members.
Experience with SAP required.
Experience with manufacturing preferred.
Prefer people local to Montreal.
French speaking preferred, not necessary.
