Responsibilities:
_Acts as a scientific liaison between pathologists and internal BMS stakeholders through medical exchanges_ _related to biomarkers and associated oncology therapeutic areas._
+ Develop and foster credible relationships with oncologists and other key opinion leaders in oncology.
+ Engage in scientific discussions and ensure timely and accurate communication of medical and scientific information related to emerging oncology data.
+ Collect, analyze and report medical insights that may impact BMS development plans, clinical trials, strategies, tactics and medical education programs.
+ Contribute to the development of the regional strategic plan in collaboration with the field matrix team and Scientific Advisor and accountable for implementation of tactics and activities. Contribute to or lead the coordination and conduct of Regional Consult Meetings or round table discussions.
+ Support identification of Investigator-Sponsored Research Trials (ISRs).
+ Support analysis and publication of abstracts, posters and journal articles.
+ Support the identification of speakers and coordination of speaker programs.
+ Collaborate to ensure implementation of all scientific educational activities related to biomarkers.
+ Provide medical support and training to BMS regional cross-functional colleagues (e.g., KAMs, CRAs, etc).
+ Reports to the MSL Manager, Oncology.
Education:
Pharm.D./Ph.D. in life science area/MD 0-2 years of experience in biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical, drug information, clinical research or other related industry. A master degree in science of life/ health or equivalent could be considered if the candidate has a strong experience in the requested field. Knowledge or experience with the technical implementation of biomarker assays and the biomarker driven oncology treatment landscape will be considered strong assets.
Requirements:
+ Must be willing to travel 50-70% of the time.
