MILLWRIGHT at International Tubular Products Inc

International Tubular Products Inc 70b Titan Road Brampton Ontario dealing in the manufacture and supply of steel products urgently require a skilled MILLWRIGHT who will be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations.

Job Duties

• Install, align, dismantle and move industrial machinery according to layout plans using hand and power tools;
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
• Adjust machinery and repair and replace defective parts;
• Sharpen and maintain machine tools;
• Maintain all equipment according to required standards;
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation;
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery;
• Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area;
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances;
• Read blueprints, diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures;

Salary: $30 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week; Overtime applies after 44 hours per week; You will be required to work in shifts;

Job Type : This is a permanent full-time position;

Experience & Skills:

• 1-2 years experience;
• Interpret and understand drawings;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Must be adaptable, flexible, accountable and dependable with good attention to detail;
• Good mechanical skills and knowledge of all safety procedures;

Education:

• Secondary School;
• An apprentice program or equivalent work experience;
• Millwright trade certification will be an asset but not compulsory;
