As part of its Connected Aircraft strategy, is recruiting a product manager in charge of “e-Aircraft Data Management” product & services.
The e-Aircraft product & services relates to aircraft services and operations for OEMs, MROs, airline safety and maintenance.
This position is for a product manager who will manage Aircraft Data Management and Integration solutions, enabling the secure exchange of data between ground applications and aircraft or onboard devices, across several 3rd party partners involved in the data value chain (Airline, OEM, Air framer, Software Vendors, MRO).
The product manager will be accountable to identify and prioritize relevant data sources supporting customers use cases, develop an information management strategy leading to new data driven business models applicable to the connected aircraft. It will also manage a portfolio of ground application services related to Aircraft Health and Maintenance as well as Safety.

oYou have a solid business experience in analytics and big data, data integration and APIs and related commercial models.
oYou are agile and quickly understand new business models and technologies
oYou are naturally curious, enjoy innovation and are eager to learn and work in a distributed team and across several business lines
oYou have an experience of engaging with customers’ different levels of management, to position new businesses and value propositions
oExperience in relation to Aviation, Crew Operations, Flight Operations or Aircraft Health & Maintenance would be a plus.
Primary Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesAs product manager, you will be in charge of defining and managing a product line throughout its lifecycle and driving a product strategy in coherence with the overall e-Aircraft product and services portfolio.
In the context of “e-Aircraft Data Management ”
oDefine the product vision and strategy and assess target market
oThoroughly analyze and document market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs
oOrganize and run user groups and forums to capture and influence market thinking
oDevelop and manage product roadmap and issue recommendations for planning and prioritization
oLead product development and manage internal/external communication from concept to launch
oLead relevant industry engagements for joint development and co-innovation (e.g. AirFramers, OEMs, MROs)
oPrepare business case and coordinate product development approval throughout internal governance
oContinuously identify and assess opportunities for product & services enhancement
oSupport the evolutions of cross solution lines products portfolio
oDocument and own product & services functional requirements
oDefine a pricing strategy and ensure it is adopted by stakeholders including Sales, Bid, Legal, Operations
oEstablish an effective 'go-to-market' aligned with partners, central and regional teams
oSupport Sales forces with a clear product value proposition, sales collateral and training execution
oDefine product marketing activities alongside central marketing communications
oManage required supplier relationships and partnerships
oAd-hoc support complex bid and pre-sales activities
Education RequiredoBSc with solid business experience, MSc preferred
Experience, Requiredo5+ years product management, related to Data Collection, Data Aggregation, Data Valuation, Data Security & Exchange
within an OEM/Air Framer/Service provider selling to OEM/Airframer
within an industry community vertical (eg. Automotive, Banking, Insurance, ideally Air Transport Industry)
oExperience of driving incubation model with early adopters customers
oExperience of new product creation from whiteboard to industrialized operations
oExperience of driving mixed internal/external teams
oExperience of a global player in a matrix organizational environment
Skills, Knowledge RequiredoExcellent understanding of the latest trends related to “data management services” and technology areas
oVery good understanding of data intelligence & analytics, IOT, machine learning, data science, artificial intelligence driving to innovation solutions
oAbility to innovate and translate product features into business requirements and functional specification
oExcellent knowledge of Product Management Practices and Methodology
oExcellent communications capability and leading and influencing distributed teams
oGood understanding of major components of financial management
oUnderstanding of Aircraft and Avionics lifecycle, and related systems and technology key players would be a plus
oExperience with Crew, Navigation & Flight Operations, Aircraft Health and Maintenance would be a plus.
