Your role in the Business Intelligence and Prediction Team would be to help us exploit data from and develop products and solutions with SITA’s Airport Operations, Baggage and Passenger processing portfolios with the goal of helping improve airport efficiency.
The role will be tasked to determine and drive the execution of the strategy, revenue and profit growth of a portfolio of products by owning, managing, championing and driving the performance of the various product lines throughout their product life cycles.
Specifically, the role will lead the introduction of new products using advanced data analytics, including AI and Machine Learning, to look ahead and predict future events at airports such as flight arrivals and passenger or baggage flows. Experience and an understanding of applying such technologies to solving operational problems would be an advantage.
The jobholder will also be required to act as the focal point of a cross functional product development team including SITA’s development and support organizations, and will also be required to interact with SITA’s customer facing business lines. As these products are currently in development, the jobholder would ideally have significant experience in managing products in the earlier stages of the lifecycle from concept to launch.

Good knowledge of the IT, Air Transport industries and baggage drivers
Innovation Skills and a track record of significant experience in defining market requirements and functional specifications.
Very good knowledge of Product Management, Stage Gate or other product development methodology. Experience of new product management approaches such as Lean Start Up, or working in incubators or accelerators would be an advantage.
Very good understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the airline/airport industry and relevant technology areas.
A demonstrated track record of success in delivering lasting results Product Management in a global business environment and within a technology solutions based business.
Good capability of leading and influencing virtual teams focused on delivery and support within an international environment
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, virtual team environment.
Experience of working in international markets preferable
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across a complex matrix organization.
Fluent spoken and written English
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Bachelor degree level or equivalent in a technical business or marketing discipline.
- Masters degree preferred.
