Position Title: Sales & Communications Coordinator
Work Location: Calgary, Alberta
Department: Sales and Business Development
Title of Manager this position reports to: VP Sales & Business Development
Work Rotation (if applicable): 5 days on, 2 days off
Work Days/Hours: 8 hours per day with ½ unpaid lunch
Purpose of Role: Support a variety of administrative activities related to sales and business development initiatives, ranging from complex to routine data entry and customer interactions. In addition, develop and execute social media communications while supporting all aspects of the Sales Department.
Respond to inbound phone and email inquiries with general information or referring inquiries to appropriate sources.
Provide administrative support to Sales & the Business Development team and Chief Executive Officer which will include data entry, drafting agenda, preparation of presentation packages.
Maintain and execute Tiger’s social media presence, providing input into the creative approach.
Maintain client records as directed.
Organize and schedule meetings, including contacting participants, booking rooms, ordering refreshments and, making travel arrangements, as required, including booking flights, hotel accommodation, car rental.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Formal education and/or demonstrated success in administrating social media communications.
Minimum three years experience in a sales environment.
Exceptional administrative skills, including strong computer abilities.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
Demonstrates confidence and maturity in client facing situations.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to take direction from, and support, multiple managers.
Committed to standards of professionalism and ethical behavior. Handle confidential information with discretion.
Able to work with minimal to no supervision and still maintain accountability to work tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements: Some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
Working Conditions: Office environment. Long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
