Lead new business development and account growth for a territory of selected, strategic accounts
Focus on opening new clients and expanding existing clients in the territory - focusing on top 50 pharmaceutical and medical device clients
Manage commercial relationships with clients and ensure overall management of Truven's business in the territory
Exceed revenue targets, speeding growth in the territory
Achieve a high profile role in a fast growing company where sales runs the business
7-10 years direct sales experience, preferably with experience selling to life sciences companies
Strong ability to open new business and close accounts
Proficiency in targeting cold contacts to build new relationships
Proficiency in presentations and strategic selling, negotiation
Ability to craft client needs into actionable solutions
Minimum bachelor's degree from a competitive university
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time
Ability to work from home if location requires it
