About the Job
Journalist with at least two years experience required for east-end Ottawa monthly agricultural tabloid (two editions: Eastern Ontario and Western Ontario). Duties: Researching, interviewing, photography, reporting, pagination, editing and proofreading. Vehicle required. Candidate is a self-starter with a keen interest in a good story, well-organized and pays attention to details. Candidate would cover stories of human interest, rural issues, politics and policy, hard news (farm accidents, fatalities, barn fires, theft), farm business and trends.
