We're expanding in Vancouver, BC Canada and we need your skills, enthusiasm, and dedication as part of our team. We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager for the Burnaby, BC location.
Proactively identify opportunities, conducting analyses/needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments on ways to improve IT operations
Work with multiple stakeholder group to identify business priorities
Assess current and future workload demands and articulate operational priorities, supply constraints (staffing / infrastructure resources)
Identify document, and execute on operational processes that continually improve the services offered by IT
Correctly interpret/apply the contract and work within committed governance processes
Manage the day to day client relationships
Deliver all services within established schedules, budgets and standards – all SLAs met each month, complete and timely status reports, risk mitigation, issue resolution/escalation
Establish and foster effective relationships with key clients and associates
Execute on programs, projects, investment plans, business cases to meet strategic objectives, while ensuring that key operational metrics are being maintained
Five plus (5+) years hands-on experience in an IT operations organization
Strong experience managing small and large number of systems
Experience with Incident Management and facilitating Problem Management activities
Experience with managing local and remote data centers and staff (desirable)
Experience presenting to senior executives or customers on IT operational Priorities
Proven project management and financial management skills
Experience with supporting and implementing ITIL v2/3 (desirable)
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Able to professionally represent CGI to existing and potential clients
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
Excellent presentation skills
Able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Critical eye for detail
Superior time management, task planning and prioritization skills
Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements
Willingness to learn on the job
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
