As the SIT/UAT Test Lead, you will lead a team of test analysts in the consulting and delivery of QA and Testing services for our client. You will align with the QA Program Manager, the Account and Client Management in the development, planning and execution of testing activities.
You are an experienced QA testing Professional with 5+ years of experience in test lead and management roles, test planning, test execution and defect management with a good understanding of QA / Testing concepts.
You have extensive test lead and coordination experience leading functional testing teams for complex applications or programs
o Accountable for the creation of test plans in accordance with test strategy and review with development, business stakeholders of the projects for completeness
o Accountable for the creation and review of test scripts/cases, working closely with testing team to ensure test design and test coverage are in accordance with the requirements.
o May work closely with project management and other teammates to gather requirements and assist in the design of new enhancements, functionality, and release planning
o Accountable for the execution and completeness of testing, Root Cause Analysis and Defect Management
o Coordinate with vendor delivery teams as applicable for providing test inputs and support for their system testing
o Ensure requirement traceability to test artifacts in agile and iterative project delivery models
o Define test data seeding, test data generation process and test data environment needs
o Coordinate with projects teams to ensure the test execution progress is inline with project schedules.
o Responsible for escalating the testing risks and issues on timely manner
o Work closely with test architect to create test automation plans for the projects and setup appropriate team to implement automated test suites development
o Provide daily, weekly updates to project and management teams on progress of test design, execution and activity plan
o Review and analyze metric data to define corrective, preventive actions and review them with key stakeholders for implementation
o Drive defect triage status calls/meetings with development, business, vendor teams to discuss the defects priority and resolutions.
o Credit/Debit Cards QA background – 5/7+ years
o TSYS TS2 QA Experience (Options Testing – Awards, Terms, Statements, Triad, Collateral and Maintenance of customer information) – 2.5+ years
o Solid understanding of credit card customer life cycles and familiarity with credit adjudication process
o Hands on experience with vendors such as Symcor/G&D/Bassett
o ADM experience within TSYS platforms – 2+ years
o DB2 mainframe experience – 3+ years
o Working knowledge of SOAP UI, API, SQL testing
o Working knowledge of Java would be an asset
o Superior communication skills, written and verbal communication
o Excellent critical thinking and good problem solving skills
o Strong organization skills
o Team-oriented, self-starter who owns work to completion with minimal direct supervision
o Experience working in an agile environment
o Exposure/past experience in Test automation Tools, frameworks, and effective utilization / identification of automation opportunities
Nice to have:
o IMS/CICS mainframe infrastructure – 3+ years
o Hands on experience working with Visa, ATM/POS testing
o Hands on experience with mobile payments, online payments
o Hands on experience with credit cards rewards program
