The Technology Services Group and Human Resources Services are internal functions providing global operations and business support across Brookfield Asset Management business segments.

Position Summary

This role sits within the Technology Services Group, in which the StrategicSourcing Manager will report to the Director, Strategic Sourcing. The StrategicSourcing Manager will be responsible for;

• Leading the Strategic Sourcing process (end-to-end)
• Managing the contract lifecycle for various technology Vendors/Categories
• Managing Vendor/Client relationships
• Delivering value-based Sourcing services (Smarter-Faster-Cheaper)

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the Sourcing lifecycle;
  • Requirements gathering
  • Developing innovative Sourcing strategies
  • Build and run RFx’s
  • Contract Negotiations
  • Document and present RFx results/recommendations to obtain buy-in/approvals from Senior Leadership
  • Support Vendor onboarding as needed
• Tactfully negotiate contracts in order to drive optimal value, and terms and conditions
• In collaboration with the Business stakeholders, develop opportunities to drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies within current and new 3rd party arrangements
• Build successful relationships with other support functions in order to provide a seamless end-user experience
• Prioritize and assess the urgency to resolve inquiries and escalations pertaining to Vendor/Contract related matters

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years degree or diploma in Business Management or related discipline, OR 7-10 years’ experience in Technology Sourcing, including but not limited to;
  • End-to-End Sourcing Lifecycle Management (RFx)
  • Contract Negotiations (Commercials, Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc.)
  • Vendor and Risk Management
  • Data Management and Analysis
• Possessing a Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is an asset
• Working knowledge in the following Sourcing categories is a significant asset;
  • RPA
  • Data Analytics
  • SaaS
  • Cloud/Hosting Services
• While working closely with the Legal team, the Sourcing Manager will analyze, identify, and negotiate 3^rd party contract terms, and ensure contracts are compliant with internal policies and procedures (i.e. Finance, Risk & Internal Compliance, Security, etc.) prior to execution
• Lead the RFx process and Contract Management activities through a structured and well documented approach to internal clients and Business stakeholders
• Must be inquisitive, and possess effective listening, comprehension and impactful communication skills (Oral and Written)
• Highly competent in building and presenting PowerPoint presentations to Executives
• Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is an asset
• Organizational and Project Management Skills
• This role is based out of Brookfield Place (Toronto) and does not require any travelling
