In the position of a Superintendent, we would ask you to do the following:
-Plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned
-Provide leadership and training to General Foreman, Foreman and other field staff
-Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely
Here are a few of the attributes and experience you need to be successful in this position:
-Strong computer skills and experience working with project management software, Excel, Word, and Email
-A minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role
-10 years of Civil construction experience
-Strong communication skills
-Equipment Operator experience, and a background in big earthworks projects
-You must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate and Ground Disturbance Level II
-Valid driver's license - Driver's Abstract is required
-Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required
You will be based out of the Fort Saskatchewan office, however; regular travel to various projects is required.
