What You'll Do
This role reports to the Principal Product Manager. You will be responsible for defining Healthcare EDI-related features for our products. You will use your understanding of the cloud and big data ecosystem to synthesize ideas that improve our offerings. You will collaborate with engineers, UX and the field team to enhance the building of our disruptive solutions.
This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, and handle various tasks simultaneously while continuing to develop a positive work culture. You will also function as a subject matter expert for enterprise healthcare EDI technology, supporting and educating team members across the organization. You will join a world-renowned leadership team with a track record of leading the development of multiple successful companies and products.
Work closely with the Product Manager to understand overall strategy and roadmap. Run point on developing strong feature requirements with detailed specifications that align to our product vision and enterprise software standards.
Work with MacroHealth’s customers and partners to derive and document requirements for EDI payer-to-network implementations.
Assist with internal testing and UAT as required
Work with the Product and Program Management teams to build strong implementation processes.
Provide EDI and industry knowledge-sharing across technical product teams.
Work closely with Engineering, providing clear requirements and guidance on testing of EDI data.
Participate actively in Scrum related activities, including sprint planning and grooming.

What You’ll Need
5+ years experience as a software Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Product Owner, gathering/documenting business requirements and translating into technical specifications.
3+ years experience working in a US Healthcare Payer or Provider environment.
Strong understanding of HIPAA transaction sets like 837,834. Hands-on experience with HIPAA logical mapping and system implementation.
General knowledge of healthcare operations, payer business processes and/or provider and EDI infrastructures.
Experience with building cloud services or SaaS technologies. Strong knowledge of and aptitude for cloud computing principles.
Ability to develop strong working relationship with engineering and stakeholder groups, and the curiously and skill to dig deeper into requirements and the "why" with limited guidance.
Comfort working within Agile methodology and using associated tools (Jira, Confluence).
BS or MS in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Excellent oral, written documentation, and presentation abilities.
