As our Technical Sales Manager, your primary mission will be to lead the craft brewing sales effort for both current and new business opportunities by identifying, developing, and strengthening customer relationships. As a collaborative partner with customers in the Western Canada region, your territory will include British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Because this is a highly specialized position, you will generate sales for all products offered by BSG in the Craft Brewing segment. While a fairly autonomous role, you will be working closely with the BSG sales team, Sales Director, and Vice President. Ensuring orderly and consistent contact with current and prospective BSG customers, you will produce enough new profitable business to achieve the company's sales goals.
Working out of your home office located near a major airport, you will be expected to travel approximately 60% - 80% of the time to existing customers, prospective customers, trade shows, and BSG company locations. Essential to this opportunity will be your proven and documented experience in Craft Brewing, focused on breweries, technical ingredients and supplies, and home brewing. Your positive energy, polished and engaging communication style, and your strong consultative sales experience with clients will be an added value. Your ability to develop customer relationships, execute key sales objectives and help brewing partners achieve sales goals will be key to your success. Previous experience in the Craft Brewing industry will be vital to your success as you identify business opportunities and concerns with the ability to develop appropriate strategies to address each.
