The Training & Education Specialist is primarily responsible for detailed program planning with focus on coordination of courses, including sourcing of venues, speaker contracts, budget tracking, customer requests, department phone support, registration processing and issuing of CE in accordance with CDE protocols. This role is responsible for planning and organizing all Canadian conferences and tradeshows (approximately 15/year), lead management at events, executing on marketing and sales strategies at events, as well as messaging and positioning at events. Additional role functions include supporting the development of marketing brochures for course advertisement. This role requires cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Events, Graphics, Sales.
·Facilitates, coordinates and produces detailed planning in support of venues, catering, participant data capture, course evaluations, hand-outs, CE credits at T&E courses, as needed
·Enters confirmed Nobel Biocare programs in Salesforce.com and publish courses to the Nobel Biocare Education website portal
·Provide on-site course support as needed
·Responsible for providing support of brochure development for T&E courses
·Provides phone support, processes registrations and SAP credit card payments
·Ensure proper equipment/product is reserved and shipped according to program requirements
·Responsible for hotel and car arrangements for speakers, as well as speaker agreements
·Submits promotion requests for T&E and 3rd party related courses
·Submits vendor invoices to accounting
·Ensure follow-up with participants who have attended courses and ensure marketing qualified leads are entered in CVM and actioned in the Sales Funnel
·Event planning in detail, ensuring that all aspects are handled for tradeshows, working closely together with T&E/marketing manager and product management team to execute approximately 12-15 events/yr.: responsibilities include logistics, booth layout, graphics, event grip stock, staffing
·Development and implementation of trade show marketing strategies per the collaboration and approval of the Head of Marketing, and in alignment with marketing and sales strategies.
·Responsible for establishing key metrics and measuring event ROI.
·Managing CVM event database: enter marketing campaigns, responsible for event lead generation and management, nurturing and follow-up of leads generated.
·Maintain relationships with key associations and negotiate corporate support agreements.
·Disseminate pertinent event information from the marketing department to all internal and external channels, including but not limited to, sales, marketing, and customer support.
·Responsible to ensure that projects/activities remain within the allotted Marketing BEX account ensuring inter-departmental adherence to budgetary guidelines.
·This role requires flexible working hours to accommodate for outside of business hours events
·High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum of five year’s administrative experience.
·Must possess excellent communication and writing skills
·MS Office Suite, word processing and reporting methods. Knowledge of Outlook, Sales Force, SAP, Google Drive and Google chrome.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & French preferred.
·Requires strong ability to organize, prioritize projects and multi-task effectively and efficiently in high pressure circumstances.
·Possess pleasant and professional telephone skills
·Exhibit knowledge of office practices and procedures, record keeping practices and filing systems
·Requires strong ability to organize, manage time, prioritize projects and multi-task effectively and efficiently in high pressure circumstances
·Must be a quick learner and possess a high level of attention to detail as well as possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in critical situations
·Ability to work evenings and weekends
·Event planning experience is a plus
·Demonstrate familiarity with word processing programs and office equipment
